Mumford
"...A Delight From Beginning To End." - New York Daily News
When a would-be psychologist, curiously named Dr. Mumford (Loren Dean, Enemy Of The State) comes to the idyllic town of the same name, and offers his talent for listening and a disarming frankness, the town's quirkiest citizens scramble for a seat on his couch. As he lightens hearts darkened by old secrets -- including those of the beautiful and troubled Sofie Crisp (Hope Davis, Arlington Road) -- no one realizes he's hiding a whopper of his own, or that he's fallen head over heels for one of his patients!
Filled with personality disorders, surprises, offbeat alliances and some hilarious fantasies, Mumford is just what the laugh doctor ordered.

A nice bent little tale of a man with a past. What his past is the fun part. Great character studies and fine acting all bring it together and make for a fun filled feel good (and I HATE feel good) movie. Nice performances from everyone, and the feel is sweet without any treacle. One of my faves.Far out - Canadian_Movie_Lover
This is a very good movie. I highly recommend it for those saturday nights at home. Though this movie is predictable in some parts, but in this day and age what movie isn't. It is an overall good movie. A man pretending he is something he's not helping a town become what they should. A great concept and it really works here.
