My Blue Heaven
Steve Martin Is A Ganster.
Rick Moranis Is A Federal Agent.
The FBI's Witness Protection Program is turned funnyside up when Steve Martin and Rick Moranis play mob informant Vinnie Antonelli and agent Barney Coopersmith in this criminally comic caper. Vinnie's got smooth moves, a swank wardrobe and a mean dance step. His identity, home and lawn mower are new but he's still the same: a guy with an eternal scam. That makes overseer Barney a guy with a huge headache.
Co-stars Joan Cusack, Carol Kane, Melanie Mayron and William Hickey, director Herbert Ross and writer Nora Ephron ably aid and abet the two stars. No wonder My Blue Heaven is a paradise for lover of funny, funny stuff!

This is a mildly amusing comedy featuring Martin as a gangster befriending an FBI agent (played by Moranis). Each character tries to teach the other. Martin helps Moranis build his confidence and shed his awkward persona while Moranis helps Martin adjust to a crime free life in small town America. You’re left with uninspiring characters and a mundane story once the novelty has worn off watching Martin play an Italian gangster. The little league ball game ending could be the lamest of all the fluffy final scenes that marked Hollywood comedies of that era.Have a nice day - Chuck_Bytes
Okay, corny and stupid i have to admit this had it's moments. Lots of silly humor made for the early 90's this film takes a fun look at what it would be like for a mobster in the witness protection program. The suits are what I thought made it funny.
