My Life
Every Moment Counts
Michael Keaton and Nicole Kidman star in this soaring family love story about a high-powered executive, diagnosed with terminal cancer, who's forced to make plans for his unborn son. And so he begins filming a home movie, My Life, in which he teaches his son all the things a man must know: how to shave, how to slam dunk and, most of all, how to love.

Life Affirming - crazyboutmovies
Once in a while Hollywood gets it right.
This is a movie about a dying man and a new life being born. It is a story about finding inner peace, forgiveness, and reconciliation; a movie that teaches us to love more, to forgive more, and to not take anything for granted.
Although not overtly religious, I do find this movie very life affirming, very pro-life. It allows us to follow the journey of a dying man until he was allowed to die a natural death in the presence of his loved ones.
It really does tell us that life is precious, from the first moments of conception to its natural end.Beautiful, sad, thought-provoking film - eyewitness
The impact of this movie goes well beyond it's own story line -it makes you ask: What's my legacy? "My Life" goes beyond simple entertainment and makes you reflect on your own life's purpose.
This moving and very emotional movie is, at the end of the day, about someone with terminal cancer (so be prepared to be crying by the end), but the ultimate message behind the plot is one of hope and redemption.Life ech day like it was your last - alicat1
This movie was very moving and very emotional. Michael Keaton was amazing in this film. This movie makes you realize how precious each day is that we are alive. The movie was very sad when Michael Keaton's character was diagnosed with kidney cancer and that he had a short time to live. At the same time his wife(Nicole Kidman) was expecting there first child. He makes a film for his son to rember him by. The movie was a definetly tear jerker and definetly made you be grateful of our own lives.
