Could have been worse. - filmgeek
The first two films in the series are way better than this one, but that does not mean that you should necessarily give this one a miss. There are still some very fine jokes in the movie, they are just not as close together as they have been in the previous entries.
The cast still give it their all, and they are quite entertaining. But overall, it was good that they stopped making these movies while they were still somewhat ahead.

The title says it all. This type of comedy (Naked Gun, Airplane, Police Squad, etc) is my favourite, and this movie is funny, no question. Well, it's Frank Drebin; it has to be. However, the first 2 are better. It just seems that they were running out of funny things to film.Classic comedy - Picker_of_Movies
I can't help it. I like the Police Squad movies. I like Airplane and Top Secret, too. Spyhard not so much.
Ok, so there are no original instant-classic one-liners like the "surely, you must be joking" line but its still good for some laughs. Don't tell me you didn't like the bubble wrap gag.
