Nine Months
"The Funniest All-Out Comedy Since 'Mrs. Doubtfire'." -John Corcoran, KCAL-TV
In this hilarious comedy about pregnancy, parenthood and panic, Sam (Hugh Grant) has it all: a wonderful girlfriend, a successful child psychology practice and a red Porsche. But all that changes when his girlfriend (Julianne Moore) tells him she's pregnant. Torn between advice from an overbearing couple (Tom Arnold, Joan Cusack), his bachelor buddy (Jeff Goldblum) and a crazy Russian gynecologist (Robin Williams), Sam's got nine months to grow up -- or risk losing it all!

This movie is quite amusing. Nothing spectacular, really, but it holds the road enough not to be bad.
We get the usual Hugh Grant character, the guy afraid of commitment. He has never stretched that far beyond that, and it shows here that he knows his role.
Julianne Moore was good, as usual. Joan Cusack was over the top, as usual. Tom Arnold was...well, never mind.
This movie offers an entertaining 90 minutes. Not a waste of time, but not one for the ages either. Not My Favourite Hugh Grant Movie - Dental_Girl
Nine Months is a somewhat funny romantic comedy. Hugh Grant doesn't play the same 'charmingly befuddled' Brit, however. His character is not nearly as likable as usual. Tom Arnold's character is pretty funny, though. And the final scene, although wacky and unrealistic, makes up for the whole movie! I laughed out loud.Mildly Amusing - Kythko
Expecting a great deal from Julianne Moore (One of the greatest actresses of my time, in my opinion) and Hugh Grant (who, again, in my opinion, makes consistently amusing romantic comedies), this movie failed to deliver in regards to both charm and humour. Filled with lame physical humour and an overdone performance by Grant, I would be reluctant to recommend this one. Although it featured a rather heartwarming, all redeeming ending, the extremes in paternal disposition were far outside my capacity to suspend my disbelief. Don't pick this one up, not even considering unlimited rentals...
