Orchestra Rehearsal
The Decline of the West in C# Major.
Orchestra Rehersal, a contraversial, yet comical film directed by five time Academy Award winner Fedrico Fellini (La Strada, 8 1/2, La Dolce Vita) is available on video for the first time featuring music composed by Academy Award winner Nino Rota (The Godfather Trilogy). Fellini's film, which created sparks at it premiere in 1979, depicts the turmoil of Italian society through the events taking place during a rehersal gathering set in a 13th century chapel.

Brilliant, Timely, Spot-on Allegory - rd--
One of Fellini's last films, this one is a thoughtful, witty allegory about political anarchy, and the consequences of rigid factionalism. It all comes together in the end, and on the way, some of Fellini's meditations on music border on poetry.
This film offers insight and entertainment in one memorable package. Brilliant.
