Practical Magic, a promising but muddled comedy about sibling witches with, perhaps inevitably, some unthreatening feminism thrown into the mix. I can't seem to stop watching this one over and over again. I was surprised that so many others didn't care for it.Magical - 0930tracey
I must say this is one of my favourites. I love the sister's bond. Watching Sally grow up and finally fit into what she describes as "normal" is fantastic. The Aunts are hilarious (I wish I had Aunts like this!) and Gillian is heartbreaking. Watch for the scene when they attempt to perform a spell on Gillian's boyfriend. It's hilarious! A must see!!!Great movie! - unrated
I found this movie very easy to get hooked on. Once you start u cant pull away from it. The two sisters have such an incredible bond, and although there is some dark humour in it, its overcome by great acting, special bonds between sisters, and very good acting, especially the aunts, this movie is a must see!!!!!
