Brian de Palma wrote and directed this interesting film.
Although the actual methods used to split the spirit - that Fritz Springmeier describes in his books - are not shown, some are mentioned. John Lithgow does a good job portraying a few personas - developed by the trauma-based mind-control of his sadistic father.
In true deliverance ministry, one must not use HYPNOTISM (it is a demon) and whenever possible, cast out such unclean spirits from the fragmented soul in Jesus' Holy Name. The insiders can be integrated with the core (original spirit in the living soul) when all are ready.
