A real gem of an action movie here... - DarylDude
In his first breakout movie, Rapid Fire is a really well done 1990's action flix. Good story, acting and of course some kickass stunts/explosions. I remember finding about Lee's death shortly after seeing this movie when I was young. A real loss losing this guy...lots of potential/charisma. I really recommend this flix!Brandon Lee Proves The Apple Doesn't Fall Far From The Tree - bwod
In "Rapid Fire", an action flick made in 1992, Brandon Lee shows a lot of talent for a young actor/martial artist. His father, Bruce Lee, would be proud of his son's accomplishments. The movie is not great. Some of the acting is a bit over the top, especially Nick Mancuso, but it is very entertaining. If you like a good action flick, with some good Kung Fu fight scenes, then you might enjoy "Rapid Fire". I give it one firm thumb up. Incidentally, Brandon Lee was shot to death while making the follow-up to this movie. It was called "The Crow". Released in 1994, to critical acclaim, that would be the last film released starring Brandon Lee. What a shame this promising young talent would be cut down so young.
