Remember The Titans
"A Rousing Celebration Of The Human Spirit...Filled With Heart And Soul." -David Sheehan, KCBS-TV
Academy Award winner Denzel Washington (The Hurricane) gives a victorious performance in this stirring and uplifting film. Based on a real-life drama, Remember The Titans is a rousing celebration of how a town torn apart by resentment, friction and mistrust comes together in triumphant harmony. The year is 1971. After leading his team to fifteen winning seasons, football coach Bill Yoast (Will Patton) is demoted and replaced by Herman Boone (Washington), tough, opinionated and as different from the beloved Yoast as he could be. How these two men overcome their differences, and turn a group of hostile young men into champions, plays out in a remarkable and triumphant story full of soul and spirit. You and your family will never forget the Titans.

I thought this movie was just about football, but it's more than about sports. It teaches us how
to deal with different people & how we can become better people by facing adversities together. Very inspirational. The fact that it's based on a true story makes this film even more important. It's well scripted. I just wished it was 20 or 30 minutes longer. I wanted to know more about all the main characters. I especially loved the Sheryl Yoast character. She's undoubtedly the most loved character in the movie. Great Job, Hayden!!! Loved the cast. A MUST see & a lesson on race relations for every generation. Well done all.Way better than I thought it was going to be. - moviegenius
I really, really liked this movie. Whenever somebody said that this movie was so great, I never really listened to them. I just sort of dismissed it and never saw the movie. Well, one day, I saw the movie and I was very impressed. Denzel Washington did a great job as the football coach, in my opinion. There was this one scene where he was interrogating one of the players and it was really funny. What was great about this movie was that it was funny, happy, sad and touching. Plus, a few fist fights occurred and I was not complaining. So, I think that you should see this movie, even if you don't like sports all that much. Right now, it's probably my favourite sports movie.Quite Possibly The Best Sports Movie... EVER - Kissfan
Remember the Titans is a Classic Sports life FILM much less Sports Movie.
The concepts of Racism and Sport and the authenticity of this Story are highly compelling.
For anyone who has played the game of football... this movie is also a great analysis of team and the meaning of one of Sports most brutal games.
Well acted by Den. Washington and the cast of student football players HAVE all gone onto greater acting opportunities sine this film was made....
I STRONgLY urge the rental.... for all zipsters!
