It took a lot of coaxing to get Bob (Duchovny), a recently widowed architect, to go on a blind date at a quirky Irish-Italian eatery. Once there, he's smitten instantly...not with his date, but with the sharp-witted waitress, Grace (Driver). With unsolicited help from Grace's match-making Grandfather (Carroll O'Connor), Bob asks her out. And as their relationship blossoms, everything seems to be going great, until an unbelievable truth is revealed...one that could easily break both of their hearts for good.

Wonderful Movie! - gidget
Return to Me is truly a sweet movie that everyone can enjoy. The core is a simple, pleasant romance between Grace and Bob's characters. Around the central story are various colorful characters that make the movie come alive. The old men in the story are hilarious and always add some more spice to each scene. I especially enjoyed the scenes with Meghan (Bonnie Hunt), her husband (James Belushi) and their children. That has got to be one of the oddest families ever! A great movie for a rainy afternoon to lift your spirits. Bring some Kleenex.

A great romance that showcases two actors at their best while the supporting cast provides some comedy here and there. Mostly, though, I just enjoy that movie because of its unique thematic: how a heart is meant to be with another, no matter whose body it is in. Awww, shuck!

This is a really sweet movie. I think the twist/detail of the heart transplant is a clever and touching addition to the story. Minnie Driver and David Duchovny surprisingly, make a strong on-screen couple. The movie is directed by Bonnie Hunt and has the same feel as her talk show- that easy-going, fun-loving, sweet and sappy feeling. The movie is perfect when you need a quiet, relaxing feel good couple of hours!
