Road Trip is a fairly typical of the genre in that it follows four guys on a quest to travel across the USA in three days, trying to beat an accidentally mailed package to its destination.
The film is largely composed of sex and drug references and keeps the relationships between the main characters light. The story is told via a narrator, Tom Green, who occasionally makes an appearance both in the story and, in the future, as the story teller.
For the most part I enjoyed the movie. It doesn't really break any new ground, but it is funny and it sometimes has heart, if only by accident. It has a good cast, good music and some good jokes. My only serious complaint was with the narrator, who adds a lot of weird, but no funny to the film and his presents really just breaks up the flow of an otherwise good flick.Road Trip - JonnyP
This movie is side-splitting funny!! Tom Green is in perfect form and Sean William Scott is his usual halarious self. The whole cast is funny right down to the grandparents dog! If you are looking for a movie that will make you feel smarter by association this is the one for you. High recommended for no-brainer laughfest.Good Laughs - Aznaro8
Very good movie with plenty of laughs. Lots of perverted humor that makes you can't help but laugh. There's some very expected scenes (eg: nerd gets girl), but the movie does a very good job of making the viewer buy into it and laugh at the product. A must see comedy if you're looking for a laugh
