still as good as i remembered it! both my little ones (10 months and 3 years) went ga ga over the songs. so catchy i couldn't stop singing them. as soon as my baby would hear the opening, he would race to it from another room. great fun! they wanted to watch it over and over for a whole week!A classic romp for children - meghanrose
This classic Disney film definitely comes from the time before every kids movie had to simultaneously appeal to both adults and children. It's definitely a kids movie, and there isn't anything wrong with that.
Both the animation style and the story are a lot less frenetic than most modern cartoons and so the overall tone is wonderfully uncomplicated and perfect for those with little ones who don't want them over-hyped by the end of the film. The songs are sweet and very catchy (I'd bet anyone who watches this will have the Oodle-Lallie song in their heads for the next few days).
Great for kids and adults who want to hearken back to a simpler time.Still holds up well after all these years - Calzephyr
I haven't seen this movie since I was a kid! I loved it. Hand drawn animation still has a lot of appeal after all these years. It doesn't have to rely on whiz bang effects either. I never realized how awesome the characterization of Prince John was either!
