Rose Hill
A remarkable family's saga of loyalty and love in the old west.
The lives of four street orphans suddenly change when they discover an abandoned baby in the back of a wagon. Although just children themselves, these vagabonds adopt the baby, whom they name Mary Rose and become a most unlikely family. Longing for a fresh start, Adam, the eldest of the clan, inspires their migration out West where they eventually find the perfect site for the family homestead. Inspierd by Julie Garwood's best-selling novel "For The Roses," Jennifer Garner (Harvest Of Fire) portrays Mary Rose, a vibrant and beautiful young woman who feels restricted by her overly protective brothers. When betrayal and heartbreak loosen the powerful bond of her adoptive family, her sorrow compels Mary Rose to search for her real parents in New York. Torn between two very different ways of life, Mary Rose must make the most important decision of her young life --to find where her true home really lies.

If you are looking for a thought provoking movie, this would Not be the one for you. Although I enjoyed it, I also found it choppy. One minute the characters are going through hard times, the next they are happy and care free, then something else tragic takes place. This movie shows the true strength and love of a family in every season.Great movie - Stephanie2
I am a huge fan of Jennifer garner and I love finding her old work. She was great in this movie. This was a great film. I did not read the book, but the movie was heartfelt and emotional with hard bits thrown in. Definitly a good pick!!! Jennifer and all the cast members were great. Justin Chambers From Greys anatomy was the brother that got killed and it was interesting to see his early work as well.not a tribute to the book - blec
I am a real fan of Julie Garwood books. I collect all her books so I can reread them when ever I want. So I was sadly dissapointed when I watched this movie. I felt like they changed some very important parts from the book, And even though Jennifer Garner can do no wrong as an actress she still couldn't make up for the dissapointment of what was chaned in this movie. I might have enjoyed it if I didn't know what was missing but as I loved the book "For The Roses" and all of it's sequels I felt I was jipped.
