See No Evil, Hear No Evil
"Funny physical comedy!" -Variety
It was murder! The blind guy couldn't see it. The deaf guy couldn't hear it. But now they're both wanted for it in the drop-dead comedy, See No Evil, Hear No Evil, that reunites the outrageous comedy duo Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder (Silver Streak, Stir Crazy). Meet Wally and Dave - Wally is blind, Dave is deaf. When a man is murdered outside the newsstand where they work, the police collar these two unlikely buddies as their main suspects. A hilarious chase ensues as Wally and Dave hightail it from the New York Police Department to snag the real bad guys - the wickedly beautiful Eve (Joan Severance, Black Scorpion) and her cold-blooded cohort, Kirgo (Kevin Spacey, American Beauty). From director Arthur Hiller (Silver Streak) comes this zany comedy caper you won't want to miss.

Classic comedy from two greats - thenewguy
See No Evil, Hear No Evil is a great classic comedy from two masters in the field. Pryor plays a blind man who works for Wilder, a deaf man. When a nearby man gets shot, these two are prime suspects. The deaf guy didn't hear anything and the blind man didn't see who did it.
But as they're trying to get away from the police, this mismatched pair discover who the real killer is and set off to stop them.
Though the film has aged a bit, the performances, timing and writing of this movie are outstanding. It's a bit slap-stick in places, but with some wonderful witty dialogue and situational comedy which is truly excellent. Pryor and Wilder are wonderfully convincing as handicapped men and the film, while it has its drama moments, keeps this light and funny all the way through. Definitely a must-see for comedy fans.true classic - timmer
I haven't seen this movie for a decade or more and forgot how original it is. I haven't seen anything like it since and the two actors, Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder are great. A must see. The supporting cast is also really good. I highly recommend it even if you've seen it when it first came out.Classic COmedy - scooby
