Shanghai Noon
Two cultures collide when East meets West in Shanghai Noon, a wildly hilarious, stunt-filled action-adventure comedy starring the death-defying action hero Jackie Chan (Rush Hour), Owen Wilson (Armageddon, The Haunting) and Lucy Liu (Payback, TV's Ally McBeal). Chan plays Chinese Imperial Guard Chon Wang who hightails it to the wild and woolly West to rescue the beautiful kidnapped Princess Pei Pei (Liu). When he meets up with laid-back outlaw cowboy dude Roy O'Bannon (Wilson) -- the best mismatch ever made in the rough and tumble Old West -- the two face jail, brawls, bordellos and the vilest villains this side of the Great Wall! Spectacular stunts, outrageous irreverence and epic vistas reign as East meets West in a battle for honor, royalty and a fortune in gold! It's a real kick.

Owen Wilson is one of my favorite actor, he's laugh out loud funny, and put Jackie Chang into the mix, and you get Shanghai noon. I love the acting on both part. it's a movie I've watched over and over again, just to learn the drinking song... and the bloopers at the end are worth a thousand laugh. So take the time to relaxe and enjoy this movie !Not really Funny - CmdrWayne
I was expecting more from this movie, something more like Rush Hour in the far west (definitely not in that class). Despite Owen Wilson being funny as always, the movie does not seem to bring as much laughs as was intended.
Some of the jokes are just not funny and it is hard to get attached to the characters.
Ending is so-so as well, leaves you wanting more.
Of course, there were still a few funny scenes and the martial art is cool although not special in any way.
Overall, there are a bunch of movies you should watch before this one...Hilarious - rrcm_babu
I just enjoyed the movie for the second time. Though it is 9 years old movie, still it is funny. Jackie Chan's stunts and Owen Wilson's comedy are amazing.
The main thing about the movie, which i would think is the period in which the story was told. But really i wonder whether there were that many Chinese at that period. Overall good entertainment which is perfect mixing of Jackie Chan's action with Owen Wilson's timing.
