Max (Jason London) is a wannabe actor caught up in the fast-paced world of high-stakes sports gambling. His girlfriend, Brigette (Charlie Spradling) challenges him to quit betting for a month, which he agrees to do with one condition, she has to stop drinking. But, the thrill of the next bet and the high of the next drink are the only things they can count on. It's a wager neither can win.


When a possible movie deal with Jack Nicholson is dangled in front of them, their already crumbling worlds are thrown into complete chaos sending them deeper into their own obsessions.
