Spies Like Us
With spies like these who needs enemies?
They're double agents without a sneaking suspicion of their assignment. But if it has anything to do with comedy, it's sure to be "mission accomplished" for Saturday Night Live alumni Chevy Chase and Dan Aykroyd, romping through their first movie together: Spies Like Us.
As two government desk jockeys who cheat their way through a civil-service entry exam and (incredibly) become globetrotting undercover operatives, Aykroyd and Chase generate the verve and spontaneity of a Bob Hope/Bing Crosby road movie. (Indeed, Hope turns up in a cameo, golf club in hand.) Top Secret. Eyes only. And laughter assured.

This movie with Chevy Chase and Dan Akroyd is a funny movie. Even though it is older it is still a good funny movie. It's the type of movie you would expect from these 2 actors.It is a clean movie that is good for teenagers and adults. I would totally recomend this movie to watch.If you haven't seen it,it is worth while renting.If you like these guys, you will like the movie.Spike like us is so so - Buffy
What can I say about this movie...Chevy Chase and Dan Akroyd play spies in this 80's comedy. I did not find it very funny there were a few classic moments but all and all it dragged on and ended pointlessly. Don’t get me wrong I love Chevy and Dan, but this movie did not bring me in as their other comedies...Funny spoof! - movie_goer

This to me is what Comedy should be...Dan Ackrod has always made me laugh, as a talented canadian- funny man he takes the spoof out of spoofs. With James bond popularity and saavy approach, this movie is just the opposite. when Both Hopefuls Chevy Chase and Ackrod dream of being world's best spies instead become worlds dummest decoy while placed in russia they surprise even those who doubt they'll survive a night on the mission- what most don't suspect is for them to out live the real USA spies and save the world from mass destruction of missles. Just 1 thing...there it's own enemy when they accidentally send the missles in the first place.
