Fun for kids - Solangel
I honestly hadn't thought about the adoption issues mentioned in the review above. My children and I enjoyed the movie on a much simpler level: they loved the animals, the family and the fact that the mouse drives a car. My son has been asking me for a mouse brother ever since - as long as he can bring his car, too! He wants to play with his remote-control car and his new brother can drive his little car, and they can play together.
All in a all, we found it to be a great fantasy movie. When I was little I dreamed of being small, like a mouse or a bug, and of all the wonderful things I would be able to do... kind of like Stuart. I think that THAT is where the magic lies in this movie.
Granted, my children were not adopted so we didn't even pay much attention to those issues in the movie, we just enjoyed the fantasy elements in the movie. I honestly think that for children between three and six years old, that is the level they will stick to when they watch the film.Stuart Little - Jude
I watched this with my 5 year old grand daughter and she loved it. It is a wonderful family movie, with a great story. Lots of action and lots of laughter. The adults were fascinated with the casting - Hugh Laurie (better known as House) was the father.show a little love - movie_goer

This isn't supose to mirror realism about adoption. If you can keep that in mind and remember this is a childs film based on the best selling classic books.
Stuart Little gives hope, love and shines on screen. Your put on a wonderful adventure of discovery to learn about everyones '1 place in llife'. Great for the whole family It's a treasure.
