intense, great acting - MadDude
This movie was powerful, and the actors were very convincing. It was realistic too, because everything happened very gradually; it's possible even to feel some sympathy for the "psycho" girl (which was the intention). Jesse Bradford plays the "nice guy" character really well too.
You always a "clue" before the girl makes her next "move" (which is never explicit) and right before the guy find out what she did. I liked that a lot.
The movie with comentary is fun to hear: it has the director, Jesse and Erika talking more about the characters and their opinions on the acting, and tricks that were done in post-production.Interesting But Predictable - Chraspin
In this film, Ben Cronin, a high school student and competitive swimmer, becomes the object of obsession of Madison Bell. Once he realizes the extent of her obsession, things are already out of control. While this film follows a fairly predictable plot (once you know the premise, you have an idea about what will happen), it manages to keep the viewer invested in what happens to Ben and Madison. Unfortunately, I was less interested in the character of Amy Miller, Ben's girlfriend. Though early scenes attempt to add depth to her character, I did not seem to care as much as I "should" have about whether she will or will not escape harm and, if she does, whether she will stay with Ben. However (with out giving too much away), there is at least one other character who gets embroiled in Madison's obsessive plan, making the film a shade darker than it would have been otherwise, and revealing how disturbed she really is.~ CRITICS PANNED THIS BUT I FOUND IT A DECENT PSYCHO-THRILLER WITH A TEEN SLANT ~ 3 1/2 Stars ~ - SqueakyChair
SNAPSHOT: So it uses the same premise as Fatal Attraction [ http://www.zip.ca/Browse/title.aspx?f=titleId(113991) ]. Big deal. It is compelling in it's own right. Emotion evoking. Semi-intense. Worth watching.
MORE THOUGHTS: There are a few places you ask yourself 'how?' but mostly this film is a decent ride for a teen thriller. Better than just OK but not outstanding.
Might i suggest from ZIP.ca
