The Hunter Is Tracking The Killer. But The Killer Is Setting The Trap.
Dennis Quaid, Danny Glover, Jared Leto, R. Lee Ermey, Ted Levine, William Fichtner
It's a vicious game of cat and mouse: relentless FBI agent Frank LaCrosse steps outside his job to find the brilliant but nameless killer who has kidnapped his son. For over a year, he has been tracking the murderer across the country, but when the stakes become personal, he is removed from the case. Against orders from the Bureau, he continues his deadly manhunt. When a series of murders occurs in his district, a seasoned Amarillo sheriff finds himself torn between winning re-election and helping LaCrosse stay on the trail of the killer. From a death-filled motel room in Amarillo, to a snow-choked train pass through the Rockies, LaCrosse follows the tracks of a former railroad man and a mysterious young hitchhiker, one of whom may hold the secret of the search

well it's starts with a murder then the cops show up but it's for a different murder then the who done it starts this was very good it makes you think and wonder why things happen it was intense and keeps you watching but make sure your in the mood to watch a crime drama don't watch this if your in the mood for a love story or a comedy it's not I liked this a lot 3 and half stars it's not quite 4 stars there a re couple questions th see everything that Dennis Quaid does. He is a great actor and he is unsung in his own time. One day people will realize he deserves recognition for his body of work. This is an interesting film that seems somewhat contrived in its coincidental meetings and situations that seem to be more happenstance than planned. Meetings between the FBI agent and the killer appear to be random and then we are told that they have been planned by the killer all along, yet snowstorms and car crashes and falling off cliffs and nearly getting beaten to death and stabbed and shot don't seem like planned events to me. Anyway, I have always wanted to voice my opinions on the script of this film and now I finally have. This however does not reflect poorly on my review of this film. It is a good one none the less. I recommend it to anyone who likes a good killer taunting the police type of film.ey didn't answer for me nothing to do with the main story but I still would have liked to knowThis is one of my favourites. - MsFan24
