The Adventures Of Huckleberry Finn
The original full-color classic from the director of Casablanca.
Mark Twain's then, now and forever classic about Huck Finn's runaway journey down the Mississippi and into manhood enjoys one of its best screen adaptations here. Michael Curtiz, legendary director of Casablanca and some 170 more films, pilots this all-family movie whose stars include 1960s era child actor Eddie Hodges (as irrepressible Huck) and savvy veterans Tony Randall (as snake-oil smooth King), Andy Devine (as a circus huckster) and Buster Keaton as a circus sideman). And Archie Moore, long time light-heavyweight boxing champ who holds the record for most career knockouts, scores an acting KO as Jim, the fugitive slave who's Huck's rafting companion... and this appealing film's timeless conscience.

Great story, movie is a little lacking - RoughRider
An all time classic of literature. As is often the case the movie is not as good as the book. This is not a bad film but it is not a classic. The pacing just seems off and the acting and script could have been better. It looks great and the soundtrack is suitable. But there is just so much more that they could have done.Great Movie - Crow
Always on the look-out for something interesting to watch with my daughter (6 years old) and this definitely fit the bill. It was well acted and well paced, so it kept her interest. It also stimulated some interesting discussions around slavery and equal treatment of people in the past and present.Classic! - NB--
Always a hit. The children (7,9,11) all enjoyed it and found it interesting and humourous. The said it was exciting and they were always anxious to see what adventure Huck would get into next.
Definitely recommend it to families! The kids give it a 5 star rating.
