The Adventures Of Pluto Nash
The Man on the Moon
One-sixth the gravity, 100% of the fun. That's the way things are on the Moon when Eddie Murphy headlines "The Adventures of Pluto Nash." Murphy plays the title role in a high flying action comedy directed by Ron Underwood (Tremors, City Slickers). The year is 2087 and the future isn't what it used to be now that mobsters (including Joe Pantoliano) are muscling in on Nash's Club Pluto. But Pluto isn't ready to kiss his assets goodbye. With the help of his robo-bodyguard (Randy Quaid), an aspiring singer (Rosario Dawson), his heat packin' ma (Pam Grier), a schnook-turned-superstar entertainer (Jay Mohr) and more, Pluto will blast the mob into orbit.

After the reviews so far I expected much worse than the comedy it was ment to be. You must remember this is Eddie's Sci-Fi...Funny>>>Stupid and limited special efx. All in all the family had a great time watching, even hubby who usually sits and reads while watching.Eddie Murphy in space. . .who thought that was a good idea? - bigkate_48
So I was expecting this to be much, much worse then it actually turned out to be. It would amuse small children. Particularly the part when Pluto Nash's robot has to recharge with a jumper cable on his manly parts. It's just a metal bar but to a five year old boy that would be hilarious. It's not painful to watch but it's not pleasurable either.Pretty Entertaining... - Reza
When I read the "A very very bad movie" from another member, I had almost regretted zipping it! before I watched it, but surprisingly it turned out not bad at all, and I believe it does not deserve one or two stars, it was a typic Eddi Murphy comedy in Sci-Fi style!
