The Banger Sisters
Goldie Hawn and Susan Sarandon are The Banger Sisters-two former groupies who got it on with every late '60s music legend with a guitar and a Y-chromosome! Now, over two decades later, Suzette (Hawn) is still her brassy self and Lavina (Sarandon) is a prim, proper suburban wife and mother. When their two worlds collide, the ensuing 'big bang' will rock the house down with laughter!

It's hilarious, and we loved it. I'd watch it again, just for the acting and music. Goldie Hawn & Susan Sarandon are excellent together in a great storyline with funny moments and memorable lines not to be forgotten.
It's a bit nostalgic, and brings back memories for those of us 'who lived it' and can relate to Goldie's character. I mean, if we have to explain the love of music and excitement of being a groupie, you wouldn't understand anyway, so just watch the movie and find out for yourself. And remember, "Not everyone's got a banana hammock!" Have fun.Not too bad - Doodlebug4444
I know there were lots of people who didn't enjoy this but I certainly did. These two actors played their parts perfect. I loved the music, the storyline, and watching the perfect mother remove the gigantic pickle from her butt. I much admit though... I hated Susans hair when they cut it...LOLOuch! That hurt! - Bobbie
Given the premise, this story has unlimited potential: Two once-upon-a-time clebrated groupies meet 20 years later to find that one has gone 180 doing the upper-class thingy with lawyer hubby & preppy daughters -- the other, well, hasn't changed a bit... every writer's dream assignment come true. The biggest challenge? How could one possibly get all that potential in under 120 minutes with a PG rating, right?
Wrong!
As impossible as it may sound, Bob Dolman (who also directed this blight on cinematic history) somehow managed to turn the 'script-of-the-year' into a plodding 90 minute snooze-fest. To say it is predictable would be flattering, given that even the minimum of what you are looking forward to never even comes close to happening.
And if squandering Ms. Hawn's & Ms. Sarandon's immense talent wasn't unforgiveable enough, Mr. Dolman goes for a hat-trick by tossing in a second totally disjointed plotline to embarass the amazing Geoffrey Rush (playing a frustrated writer: Puh-leeeze!) I can only assume that all three signed onto this Titanic based solely on the concept, assuming that it couldn't possibly go wrong.
This was one of those rare times that I watched a film all the way to the end just to see if it could possibly get any worse, and I wasn't disappointed. If you're expecting a few priceless frenetic comedial moments like those in 'First Wives Club' or 'Thelma & Louise,' look into any of Goldie and Susan's other comedies.
P.S. Ms. Hawn can still stop-a-clock in a clinging top and Spandex slacks, but Ms. Sarandon should have looked in a mirror before accepting her wardrobe assignment for the 'Girl's night out' sequence.
