The Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course
His First Big-Screen Adventure!
Steve Irwin makes his big screen debut with his most perilous adventure yet! To save a very large crocodile from poachers, Steve and his wife Terri set out on a death defying journey through the outback to nab the big fella and relocate him to a safe river. But what they don't know is that the angry reptile has swallowed a top secret U.S. satellite beacon, making them all targets of American special agents. Crikey!

Terrible idea with poor execution. Hollywood tried to take advantage of the flavour of the month. The Crocodile Hunter was a very popular TV series (until Irwin's sudden death). Hollywood slapped a poor plot onto what would be an ordinary episode of the show. There isn't anything really to see here. So unless you are a hardcore Irwin fan, skip this one.The Crocodile Hunter Collision Course - J1--
It was a good movie, somewhat like his TV shows with a little story put into it. It was a great loss to the world when he was killed because I think he had a great future in movies as he was very animated. Too bad he could not have done more. Maybe his daughter will act in a movie and show what her dad taught her.Gonna Miss You Croc Hunter - DavesRules
The first time I saw this movie, I had little knowledge of who this Steve Irwin guy was. I can remember walking away from the theatre and saying, "That guy is a lunatic. He's going to get killed doing those things."
On this second viewing, I had intentionally rented it after the tragic death of this brave man. All the things I read and heard about him were inspiring. He was an avid environmentalist and completely sincere about the things he was doing with the animals.
The movie with its silly CIA plot, really isn't much more than an extended edition of the show. It has some really funny scenes with the incompetent CIA agents. Fortunately, the movie doesn't take the plot so seriously that you feel you have to give it much consideration. The real stars are the animals. It has some really intriguing scenes as Steve encounters deadly snakes, spiders and crocodiles. Where do you find a wife who not only lets you do these dangerous things, but gets right in there and helps?
Kudos to you, Steve Irwin. You'll be missed!
