The Godfather Part 2
This edition has the movie spanning two discs, but will be shipped together and treated as only one title on your ZipList.
This brilliant companion piece to the original The Godfather continues the saga of two generations of successive power within the Corleone family. Director Francis Ford Coppola tells two stories in Part II: the roots and rise of a young Don Vito, played with uncanny ability by Robert De Niro, and the ascension of Michael (Al Pacino) as the new Don. Reassembling many of the talents who helped make The Godfather, Coppola has produced a movie of staggering magnitude and vision, and undeniably the best sequel ever made. Robert De Niro won an Oscar; the film received six Academy Awards, including Best Picture of 1974.

When I first saw the THE GODFATHER PART II, I thought it lacked the perfect pacing and balance of action of the original.
But, as I've gotten older, I've grown to appreciate this film so much that it is actually the one I prefer today. I still have a kind of nostalgic love for the first, but this sequel was the first film I had ever seen to truly plum the depths of evil. And that is probably why I rejected it a bit in my youth.
This is one of the few sequels I've seen which works to deepen the complexities of the original characters while introducing a host of new villains (I cannot say "heroes" as well because this film presents a world filled with wonderful and terrifying anti-heroes, and those rule alone).Godfather Part II - V4D3R
Incredible! I saw this last week after seeing The Godfather Part I a few weeks before and man, I think this movie is much better than the first. Michael Corleone was a beast in this and Al Pacino played him so well. Michael's character was SO cold you could feel the chill down your spine when he talks. I did not agree with one of his actions, but maybe it did need to be done. It was quite sad. The scene with Kay in the room is a memorable one for sure. This movie was great - nobbymcdobby
I read the book of the Godfather. It was a very bad book. It's funny that the movies are so much better. A lot of people say this sequel is better than the original. I am not sure I agree. Although, it is a great movie. The part with Robert De Nemo as the young Godfather is really great. The part in Cuba is not as great. But overall a great movie, I love Al Pacino, he is hilarious.
