The Hills Have Eyes 2
So you think you're lucky to be alive
Everyone's favorite desert dwelling mutant cannibals return in this gruesome sequel to the classic drive in shocker. Years after the original 1977 massacre which pitted a suburban family against a band of cave dwellers, traumatized survivors lead a team of dirt bikers back out into the wild for a bus expedition. After their vehicle breaks down, the travelers are left to fend for their lives when the hungry savages (led by the spooky bald headed Michael Berryman) emerge from the hills once again in search of dinner!
Directed by horror maestro Wes Craven (Scream, A Nightmare on Elm Street), this brutal chiller features several shocking highlights from the original film (including the now legendary canine flash back) and an eerie score by Friday the 13th's Harry Manfredini. More vicious, more outrageous, and more delirious - it's The Hills Have Eyes Part 2!

Popcorn fun - Chucky
I always liked the bald guy, what can I say? Whenever a busload of teenagers get together in an idylic location that is somewhat remote from the rest of the world, theres always a psycho waiting for night to fall. The movie is fun if you take it as it is.People who arew looking for anything deep or an improvement on the original are in the wrong genre and are actively seeking dissapointment. Not so great sequel to a good movie - Coconut_Willy
I will not say that all sequels are necessarily bad but in this case, it certainly is not very good. If you don't take in consideration the excerpts from the original movie, this ends up to be a weak one hour of film effort. The storyline is pretty much a repeat, the cast is interesting doing an OK acting job with an average dialogue and the camera work is appropriate. It's rather funny to see some of the cast who went on to do quite a bit of television later on perform when they were so young in such a film. I would not recommend this unless you need to see all of Wes Craven's work or are an insatiable fan of teen/slasher/terror films. It does though have quite a few elements that would surface in the Nightmare On Elm Street series.
The transfer to DVD is of rather poor quality; full-screen aspect ratio, faded colors, low definition and visible damage throughout. No extras besides the trailer. Not even worth a commentary track...
