Edge of my seat !!!! - Amadeus
I thought that this movie was very witty. I was very entertained throughout the whole movie; I did not look at my watch once. I believe that the movie does a good job in presenting its point of view. I also give crops to Spacey, Linney, Winslet and Mann for their performance in the movie. The "Life of David Gale" in my opinion is a mix between "True Crime" and "The Shawshank Redemption", because of all the twists involved in the film. This is the first Parker movie I have enjoyed, and I would have to say that I would look forward for his next films. Over all I would rate this movie a 9/10.Think about it - UltimateFan
This movie was well put together and I was always one step behind where the plot was leading me. I saw this movie in the theatre when it was originally released and loved it then, but watching it again with a few years of distance made me love it even more. Kate Winslet is excellent, as are Laura Linney and Kevin Spacey. The story is both difficult and fascinating at the same time.Intelligent, Food For Thought - Shani
If you don't feel strongly one way or another about the death penalty, then you're probably under 16. Most of us have wrestled a bit with what we believe about this topic, and this movie addresses the "against" side and their convictions (pardon the pun). The movie has some good twists and turns that, while a bit formulaic, aren't too obvious and portray a kind of heroism and ideological passion that is all too rare in the world today. Worth watching when you're in a political, mystery-solving kind of mood.
