Incredible Movie - MFisher
This is a great movie and it takes me back to my childhood. I watched this movie years after it came out but it was still awesome then. The story was so cute and I loved how she was reunited with her one true love and their journey together and finding love again. Great feel good story with some decent action for the time and type of movie.Classic!! - anwallette
This movie is a classic from childhood. It's major theme is true love with a lot of interesting friends and situations that crop up along the way.
Robin Wright truly shines in her first major role as "Buttercup", the farm girl who falls in love with a farm boy, Wesley. She is chosen to be the new queen when she receives word that Wesley is killed by pirates.
She is bethrothed against her wishes to the king who makes her life miserable and spends a good while trying to kill Wesley.

I saw this as a little kid, and when I heard guys in my college classes talking about how much they liked this movie I thought we were thinking of different films. But we weren't! This is an awesome movie for guys and girls, and a fun, lighthearted movie to throw on for a movie night with friends. A little action, romance, and humour! And you can watch it with your kids, sine it's pretty appropriate... they won't get any of the dirty jokes.
