The McCoys Visit Hollywood

Original Airdate: January 8, 1959

The McCoys have been living in the San Fernando Valley for nearly a year when Kate sees a photo of her high school friend, Glory, in the paper and discovers she's now a movie star. Hollywood may be a very long way from the Valley (20 minutes by freeway), but Kate convinces Grandpa and her husband Luke to make the trip.

You Can't Cheat An Honest Man

Original Airdate: November 7, 1957

When an insurance broker from L.A. shows up at the McCoys' farm with an offer to buy five acres of their useless, unplowable land, Grandpa Amos sees an opportunity to make some quick cash. But Kate and Luke won't have any part of it -- they don't think it's right to take advantage of the man. It isn't until after the deal has closed that Grandpa discovers they're the ones who've been had. But in the end, it's still the McCoys who have the last laugh.
