The Scarlet Letter is a good film with great performances… All the actors do a superb job…The climax also compels us to contemplate about whether there is anything that we would be willing to die for…

I thought this movie was more than it was. I watched it first when I was very young but this time around was thinking what the heck did I waste my time and energy in watching it. It was an ok movie but something that I won't see for a long time again.I'm sorry Scarlet. - Scotched
Frankly, after seeing this, I don't give a damn.
I spent $6.95 (sorry Zip), and to that extent I have debited the estate I will leave to my grandchildren.
What damage I have done to myself, only time will tell.
Maybe this movie should wear a scarlet letter to warn us all.
