Jerry Mitchell's having one of those days: he's late for high school, his car has a flat and he's been sent to the dean's office. But worst of all, he's just ticked off muscle-bound bully Buddy Revell, who challenges him to a fight at 3 p.m. Jerry has just seven hours, his lightning-quick wit and a savvy kid sister to find a way out of this mess. As the clock ticks away and the suspense mounts, Jerry's going to be history-unless he can make brain work against brawn in this teen comedy classic.

I love this movie. From the beginning to the end it makes me laugh. It does remind you a lot of high school and how some days go fast and some go quick all depending on what waits at the last bell. I love how far fetched some of the stuff is it make the movie corny but perfect for the 80's. Great laughs and a lot of off-beat comedy. See it.Excellent Movie - Devin
I remember watching this movie years ago and found it to be hilarious. The whole movie is a great storyline of how a geek would react to try to get out of a fight with the tough guy of the school and how plans can go so wrong and things keep getting worse. Why, oh why can they not bring movies like this once again to the big screen. This movie is a one of the best teen movies from the 80's that just is totally awesome and great story line. Not to mention a no body main actor, who is a geek.. and you just totally feel for this guy and his fear of his up and coming fight at Three O'clock. Great acting and totally funny.. well worth the rental of this classic teen slap knee movie.
