To The Devil A Daughter
Behold the spawn of Satan... Hammer Style.
A heretic priest (the legendary Christopher Lee in one of his finest Hammer performances) plots to use a teenage nun (Nastassja Kinski in her first major film role) in a depraved sexual pact with the forces of darkness. But when an American occult novelist uncovers the conspiracy, he must battle an international cabal of evil for the body and soul of the Devil's child-bride. Can this black magic marriage be stopped before an innocent girl is defiled as the womb of Satan?
Honor Blackman (Pussy Galore in Goldfinger) and Denholm Elliott (Raiders of the Lost Ark) co-star in this notorious Hammer shocker directed by Peter Sykes (Demons of the Mind) and based on the best-selling novel by Dennis Wheatley (The Devil Rides Out) that became the studio's final horror film. To the Devil... A Daughter is now presented completely uncut and uncensored, including the restoration of the film's startling violence as well as young Natassja Kinski's controversial full frontal nudity.

Better than most of Hammers 70's fare. - RottenRon
I was meaning to see this for a long time and I gotta say it was better than I was expecting. The ending is notoriously bad, all involved speak freely of it's nonsensical choices and gratuitous images, and going in expecting this I was not disappointed. A strange farewell to Hammer films, I wish they could have made a few more in this vein, maybe they would have gotten it right.A decent outing - Dorothy_Zbornak
A decent amount of suspense and chilling moments carry along this tale of a young nun delivered by her father to an occult writer for sake-keeping to avoid a Satanic fate.
The horror factor here is pretty minimal but Christopher Lee does well in his standard role as a maniacal monster/mastermind. Richard Widmark is excellent in the lead role. Nastassja Kinski does a good job portraying the naive and innocent "victim", but sadly Honor Blackman is mostly wasted in a very minor role. The final Hammer film could have been... - Coconut_Willy
This movie was the last one produced by legendary British outfit Hammer and did it ever end badly. When I started watching this, it appeared to be quite good but as the film advances, it gets from bad to worse and culminates in certainly one of the worst ending ever made. The general concept of the movie is not too bad but the escalation of the suspense is not good at all. What starts up as being a somewhat believable satanic cult story becomes more and more ridiculous with every development element. The cast is very good but they do a very uneven acting job with the dialogue they're given. Richard Widmark in particular is not very believable in his role. The sets and locations are great, the soundtrack is appropriate and the camera work is quite good. There are not that many special effects here but again, some are good and some are not so good. If you're a fan of Hammer, you will have to see this but I think you will be greatly disappointed, especially with the very bad ending that pretty much closed the shop on a very bad note.
The transfer to DVD is of good quality with little visible damage and the bonus interviews are very interesting.
