Tokyo Raiders
Explosive Action In Hong Kong's #1 Box Office Smash!
When a private eye, a jilted bride and a mysterious stranger join forces to track down an elusive mobster, there's more than trouble in the air in Tokyo Raiders, a martial arts adventure that really flies!
Acclaimed Hong Kong action star Tony Leung plays Len, a smooth-talking detective whose trench coat carries an arsenal of tricks and provides a streetwise disguise for the kung fu master. While on the trail of a gangland boss, Len meets up with brokenhearted Macy (international pop star Kelly Chen) and John (actor/singer Ekin Cheng), an interior designer with ulterior motives. As they close in on their quarry, the dramatic Tokyo streets are filled with close calls, triple-crosses, gravity-defying fight scenes and a band of chicks that totally kicks!

Asian James Bond Flick - kav2001c
Ok for those not in the know, this is what is known as a Lunar New Year film (in other words, they play at NYE, and are total fun/joke films, so dont expect anything serious ok?)
This is the first part in the series (Seoul Raiders is part 2) of Asian superhero movies (think James Bond, who decides to comb his hair to keep it neat after a fight)
The plot lines are VERY twisted (overlapping each other on multiple points) and the fights are highly stylized (& comic in some points)
It also has cameos (of course)
Toru vanishes days before his wedding, leaving Kelly Chen heartbroken
Then Ekin Cheng shows up saying her husband ripped him off (bounced cheques) and he wants to see him
They head for Japan where they get attacked by Hiroshi's gang (who are also looking for Toru)
They are rescued by Tony Leung's gang who says he is also looking for Toru (Tony also tells Kelly to go home, as Toru has been having an affair with a Yakuza girlfreind the last couple of months)
But you realize quite early that someone is lieing (hint, maybe more than one someones) and Kelly tries to figure out who before she runs out of time, pursued by bill collectors, secret services (US & Japanese), private investigators, martial arts experts, and the Yakuza
Will she find her husband alive and escape in time?
