Two Mules For Sister Sara
Universal Western Collection
Clint Eastwood is a hard-hitting high plains drifter who rides into town and single-handedly rescues a local nun (Shirley MacLaine) from a gang of attackers. After meeting a band of Mexican revolutionaries bent on resisting the French occupation of Mexico, the cowboy and Sister Sara decide to join forces with the freedom fighters and set off on a deadly mission to capture the enemy's garrison. But along the way, a steamy romance develops between them when the soft-spoken hero discovers the nun is not what she seems. Ending with a violent climax at the well-protected fort, this action-packed western classic cemented Eastwood' status as a true cinematic superstar!

Great Movie - bigdozer
When I first saw this movie many years ago I was in my teens and now having seen it again I have a new perspective on this movie, I'm a fan of Clint Eastwood and I have to ask myself why you have listed this film as a comedy although there are a few funny scenes, it doesn't deserve the title of a comedy western.Suprising - Jimmy_Jam
Why this film is firstly labeled as a comedy is beyond me; I have always passed it over to watch other films because of this. To my suprise it is a very serious movie; the bullets and blood are there, the plot is both political and realistic and overall the atmosphere is very dramatic, helped in large part by Ennio Morricone's score. There are a few funny lines, mainly Hogan adressing Sister Sara, but even in the most serious of westerns there is witty dialogue. If your an Eastood fan you owe it to yourself, he is great as usual, and if you like westerns it is much better than it is given credit for.
