Entertaining action movie - Coconut_Willy
Without bringing anything extraordinary to the table, this film is nevertheless quite interesting, even more so considering that it's a mid-'80s production. The arab terrorist twist is even more relevant today than it was at the time. The storyline is not overly original and some of the sub-plots are somewhat predictable but overall, it's a good concept well developed. The cast here is good although a bit of an odd mix of familiar faces from different origins and different genres; Rutger Hauer, a usual bad guy is good here, Robert Guillaume, a sitcom veteran is a CIA agent and Gene Simmons, the rock star is a very bad guy. All in all though, the acting job is pretty good with a fair dialogue. The sets and locations are quite typical of this kind of film, the soundtrack and the camera work are appropriate. This movie has numerous action scenes that are in general very well made. If you like this kind of action film, you will not be disapointed.
