Warriors Of Virtue
The journey begins when young Ryan (Mario Yedidia), a typical teen, is swept into very unusual circumstances. After an innocent dare goes wrong, Ryan is magically transported to Tao, a beautiful fantasy land whose sole lifespring is defended by the brave, kangaroo-like, Kung Fu-fighting Warriors of Virtue. But the Warriors may have met their match in an evil warlord named Komodo who wants Tao's lifespring for his very own. Can the Warriors stop him before Tao is lost forever? Only if Ryan can find the power within himself to put an end to all the evil.

A great kid's film - Wentai
I watched this film and while it does have some issues, overall it was excellent. A lack of solid female leads is one of my complaints, though there are 3 strong supporting actresses, all of whom do a good job.
I won't add spoilers but this is one of the few fantasy films made during the 90's, before they turned Lord of the Rings into a film. Too bad the few fantasy films made during that decade were aimed at kids (Labyinth, Dark Crystal, etc) though at least the quality was generally quite high.
I saw this film a long time ago and zipped it again, seeing it differently now. I loved the fantasy world and the setting, both of which were well done.
Highly recommended for all young people and any adults that enjoy fantasy, other-worldly stuff.
