Who Framed Roger Rabbit
It's 1947 Hollywood and Eddie Valiant (Bob Hoskins) a down-on-his-luck detective, is hired to find proof that Marvin Acme, gag factory mogul and owner of Toontown, is playing hanky-panky with femme fatale Jessica Rabbit, wife of Maroon Cartoon superstar, Roger Rabbit. When Acme is found murdered, all fingers point to Roger, and the sinister, power-hungry Judge Doom (Christopher Lloyd) is on a mission to bring Roger to justice. Roger begs the Toon-hating Valiant to find the real evildoer and the plot thickens as Eddie uncovers scandal after scandal and realizes the very existence of Toontown is at stake! Who Framed Roger Rabbit is deliciously outrageous fun the whole family will enjoy.

This is definitely a classic movie for me. Its funny, wacky and a great story line. I wish they made another movie like this. Roger Rabbit is just a goofy character who has a hot girlfriend Jessica. Someone is trying to kill the toons and Roger Rabbit is being framed for it. I think its a great movie for kids. I remember watching it when I was eight.Stands The Test Of Time As A Classic - kav2001c
Here's a blast from the past that really stood up well to the test of time. I remember how much I had loved this film years ago and was very hesitant to rewatch it.
Story about 1940s era Hollywood features Eddie Valiant, a down and out PI who's brother was killer by a Toon. He is hired to take some incriminating photos of Jessica Rabbit playing pattycake with Marvin Acme, and when Roger finds out he goes off the deep end. But when Marvin is found dead Roger claims he didn't do it and now it's up to Eddie to try and clear his name before the Judge and his weasels can dip Roger.
Tons & tons of injokes, one liners, and lots of small things you can miss so stay alert.
Great movie, even if special effects are not perfect by todays levels that this film is character driven & well worth the rentalBest Animated Movie From It's Time. - Sam4
I watched this movie in the theatre when I was about 12 years old. At that time there was no movie out there like this. As said by one of the other reviewers, now that I'm all grown up, I finally get the jokes....."are you happy to see me or is that a rabbit". I honestly had no clue by what she ment by that when I was 12, now I chuckle over it. I also didn't realize that Kathleen Turner was the voice for Jessica Rabbit until now. I loved watching it again 17 years later with my daughter, she thought it was a barrel of laughs. I give it 5 stars!
