The Matrix Reloaded (Full Frame)
"Much more than a first-rate action epic. We're in that rare territory where the sequel is a triumph over the original."-Richard Roeper, Ebert & Roeper
Sentinels swarm. Smith clones. Neo files...but perhaps not even a Chose One gifted with astonishing new powers can stop the advance of the Machines.
Neo. Morpheus. Trinity. They're back for the powerful second chapter of The Matrix Trilogy, and exciting new allies join them in the struggle against foes who are cloned, upgraded and closing in on humanity's last enclave. Back, too, are the Wachowski Brothers, and producer Joel Silver, expanding their vision with a spectacle that rocks the senses, probes the heart and shapes filmmaking's tomorrows.
What is the Matrix? The question is not yet fully answered. And it leads to another: Who created the Matrix? The answers lead to more worlds of bold possibility-and to a destiny that passes from revelations to Revolutions.

The Matrix Reloaded is an above satisfactory sequel, with a few snitches along the way. But well worth the ride.
Everything I liked about the first film was taken and recreated into something even better. The poker-face martial arts action is back, the awe inducing special effects above par, and all to familiar flashly scenes are sustained by brilliant back story.
The Matrix Reloaded is just as thought provoking as its predecessor, when one thinks deeper enough, though one might be overwhelmed by its philosophical themes, it is definitely not for everyone.Action - Less - Klee
For fans of action and Kung Fu and comic book storylines, this is a must see sequel to the first film. The Special effects abound and like the first, they are an integtral part of the experience. I've never been a fan of fx for the sake of fx, but the matrix story is an exception to the rule. The problem is that the story falls far short of the mark. It's just too hard to ignore the gaping leap in plot lines leading from the first film to a whloe new unexplained world presented here. Even accepting this to be a serial effort, the abrupt ending is just too much to bare. Good films, including sequels, must able to stand on their own and this one simply cannot.Jammed with action and Kung fu fighting....a true thriller! - Kim1
Ok I admit...it's less satisfying in plot comparing with the 1st matrix, but this movie makes up for it in extra actions, car racings and kung fu fights.
Don't miss out if you are a true action film fan...the kung fu fighting scene in the park with Neo and multiple Smiths and the car racing scene on highway with Trinity are definitely going to be classics.
