Harrison's Flowers
"Powerful!" - Jan Wahl, KRON-TV
Andie MacDowell (Four Weddings and a Funeral) stars in this compelling story of one woman's determination to find her husband Harrison (David Strathairn, L.A. Confidential), a Pulitzer Prize-winning photo journalist. He is reported as missing while on a dangerous assignment covering a war in a foreign country.
When Harrison is presumed dead by his colleagues and editor, only Sarah believes that he is still alive. Driven by intense passion she courageously plunges into a land ravaged by war, risking her own life as she engages in a relentless search to find him.

Brilliant, real, and very disturbing... - Kinipeli
This was the most honest depiction of war I have ever seen captured in a feature film. The cast couldn't be better, and the story line keeps getting more and more intense as the minutes pass. This is a story of love, of the heroic and dangerous field of war photography, and the brutalities of war. Andie MacDowell, David Strathairn, and Adrien Brody are genius. I would strongly recommend this film. The imagery is very real, and often times disturbing, but I'm sure you can handle it :)An important film about the war in Bosnia - Frank_Ricard
To most people in North America, or the rest of the world for that matter, the war in Bosnia (and Serbia, Croatia, Kosovo) was all very theoretical and remote.
If you want a snapshot of the brutality, lawlessness, and terror of the conflict, you need to look no further than Harrison's Flowers.
The script may have been flawed and parts of the story superfluous...but it is nonetheless an important and effective film with excellent dramatic performances by the actors.Eye opener! - movie_goer
Such an intriguing movie about a Women Devoted to her Husband "Harrison". when sent on a mission to war torn area as a photogher.Assumed Missing in action his Film is sent back, using this as a clue to link his last where abouts, and local News broadcasting. Harrisons wife goes searching for him. With a compelling gut feeling she just can't let it go. On the way she meets friends, see's death first hand, and intercepts near death herself. "A journey of love, conquers all!"
