This movie is pretty good, I saw it a few months ago. I would recommend it for anyone who likes movies of this genre. Also, if you like movies from this star actor then you will like it for sure. Anytime I see their movies I feel like it's their best movie yet. Either their best or worst really, but this was probably their best until that most recent one they made. I think it's going to be a close one.. who knows. The Fugitive meets Starship Troopers. - cathyottawa
Which had potential, but unfortunately, this film is filled with plot holes you could drive a mack truck through.
Super smart aliens can't figure out how to penetrate the city the same way Sinise does (underground tunnels)? Advanced humans can't determine the cause of a fire, which, when the cause is revealed, is inexcusable? And that ending....just plain made no sense.
The dialogue is dopey, and the characters (particularly Vincent D'Onofrio's) are stereotypical.
Some of the effects are okay, I guess. Most of them were borrowed from other films, quite literally. According to IMDB, this lifts actual shots from Starship Troopers, Gattica, and Armageddon. This lack of budget shows everywhere else.
You'd be better off rewatching Blade Runner or Minority Report, or even Total Recall than wasting your time on this.Watch Blade Runner... - Ramsey
P.K Dick, sure a great writer. Blade Runner, one of the best movies af all time. This movie just made me sad inside. I can see how this might make a good short story, not a 2 hr movie, oh ya... it is a short story. This movie is basicly blade runner and total recall masticated by a the fat cow of hollywood then puked into our faces. Shame on them.
