Eye Of The Beholder
Obsession is in the eye of the beholder.
The Eye (Ewan McGregor) is an intelligence agent whose current assignment is to track Joanna Eris (Ashley Judd), a woman suspected of blackmailing a senior government official. But The Eye soon learns that Eris is far more than a blackmailer. She is a seductive, shadowy master of disguise who is a frenzied murderer whose rage is as fierce as her beauty. As he follows her, he becomes fascinated with what he sees. Soon his surveillance becomes a deadly obsession. The closer he gets, the more intense the danger becomes. To catch her would be to lose her, so the odyssey continues until they find themselves on a perilous crash course.

This film could have been terrific. The premise was interesting, the acting good +. It must have been just the way the story was told.
As some reviewers have mentioned, and I agree, it was a bit choppy. There was no character history, but I think that was by design. The puzzle was trying to figure out what drove the two leads.
Not as bad as many seem to think. I gave it 3 stars based on some pretty decent acting (Priestly and Bujold included).
You could do worse than renting this one.Eye of the Beholder - AppsScraps
This is a thoroughly dreadful film based on - one can only hope, a better - novel by Marc Behm. British secret agent Stephen Wilson (Ewan McGregor) is sent to the United States to track a vicious serial killer of men, Joanna Eris (Ashley Judd). But rather than stopping the killer, poor Stephen becomes obsessed with her and thereupon travels the US for 10 years following her tracks. Yawn. One is teased halfway through the film by the appearance of Dr. Jeanne Brault (an I've-hit-the-wall Genevieve Bujold, or is the make-up artist to blame?) and for bare moments we edge closer to our seats hoping sense will be made of the journey. But it's not to be. A film that bangs you over the head with the lengths some men will go when obsessed, Eye of the Beholder is nothing more than an insult to everyone involved.
My rating 2 out of 10.Great actors poor film - Timmins_gurl
I have to say that I enjoy both these actors but this film is aweful. It has a choppy plot and poor story line. Not worth watching at all, after I started watching this movie I realized that I had seen it in the 90's when it was a new relase. I couldn't remember the story line which means I must of not liked the film the first time around. Ewen and Ashely would have done better not doing this film because it definately didn't make their careers.
