Ripley's Game
Mr. Ripley's got game … deadly game! With a mind as sharp as his throwing knives, it's child's play for Ripley to manipulate an innocent family man into becoming a cold-blooded assassin. But Ripley's intricately planned game of murder could spin out of control with the arrival of a gang of Russian mobsters intent on extracting their own pound of flesh.

Having seen "The Talented Mr. Ripley", it was interesting to see this film where we see Ripley later on in life. The plot is interesting and John Malkovich delivers a spine-tingling performance. Both Malkovich and Damon have a similar creepy vibe in their characters, but Damon's is perhaps more interesting. Malkovich is Malkovich.Good and special - miss_Wesker
good: this movie is interesting and i like suspense, this movie gives you that.
it starts quick, it takes us by suprise in the very first scene.
special : im saying its special because the movie was filmed entirely in Italy. Special here isnt a bad thing, its again insteresting.
the acting is however not always great, Dougray Scott is strange, but John Malkovich is different, its John Malkovich lol, there's something about him, he is intriguing, he is always great.
I recommend this movie to those that likes suspense, and also those that would like to see how could i say this... ill just say that its filmed in Italy, so its interesting for the eyes, its special, interesting, and now i am repeating myself... hahahaA Neat Performance, in a Not Fully Realised Film. - jmunds
I was really excited to watch this film as I love the character of the Tom Riple, such an oddly sad and loveable creation while also being a creature of supreme violence. John Malcovich takes on Tom well, and does not disappoint thoughhis performance is nowhere near the caliber of Damon's Tom, perhaps it is because this Tom is older and more used to the violence. Or perhaps the film just isn't as good. Though Tom was thouroughly entertaining, the film itself is wonkey never fully drawing you in perhaps its because there is a lack of setup in the supporting characters. This film is great for Malkovich fans, and Tom Ripley fans, but if you are unaware of the character or the feel, stear away from this film.
