Clear the runway for Derek Zoolander (Ben Stiller), VH1's three-time male model of the year. His face falls when hippie-chic Hansel (Owen Wilson) scooters in to steal this year's award.
The evil fashion guru Mugatu (Will Ferrell) seizes the opportunity to turn Derek into a killing machine. It's a well-designed conspiracy and only with the help of Hansel and a few well-chosen accessories like Matilda (Christine Taylor) can Derek make the world safe for male models everywhere.

One that gets funnier every time.... - tidbit
When Zoolander first came out, I remember Roger Ebert famously gave it one star and proclaimed that "this kind of thing is the reason Americans are hated abroad." Most other critics shared his general opinion. Now, nine years later, the film somehow remains fresh, and perhaps has even got funnier over time. I think Ebert and the rest of his ilk missed the mark on this one.
Stiller and Wilson are fantastic together. Will Ferrell is even better as the evil Mugatu (his best performance yet?). Add to this John Voight and David Duchovny in great bit parts and you have a very funny film.

Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson are abosolutely hilarious together this outlandish comedy. Don't expect a deep, engrossing real world story line here. Fashion executives are recruiting/brainwashing Derek Zoolander (a gullible fashion model) to overthrow the Malaysian government. Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson do a great job of porttraying clueless supermodels who know nothing about the real world. Will Ferrell does his usual superb job in portraying the villain Mogatu. if you're a fan of the Ben Stiller brand of comedy then don't miss out on this one.Zoolander - zipped2
This is a hysterical movie. I have watched many times and laugh even harder with each viewing. His mangling of the word 'eulogy' is priceless, not to mention his scenes working in the coal mines. It is not meant to be taken seriously on any level, and seems to appeal to all theMonty Python fans I know. Most people I have recommended this movie to have gone out and bought the dvd after seeing it- it's that good. Just don;t expect 'Meet the Fockers', this is a different brand of slapstick.
