What can be said about this movie, that already hasn't been said. It's simply a classic that needs to be experienced in any environment. Of course attending a local theater viewing is a must, but watching at home is just another experience. This must of been my 30th viewing. Let's do the timewarp again!A very odd musical that deserves its cult status. - estefan
Really oddball cult musical that actually proves to be a lot of fun. The songs are incredibly enjoyable and catchy to listen with the cast all performing them very well. This film could have been way too out-there and thus, became off-putting, but you totally buy into the story and the musical numbers seriously pick it up. Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon and one-scene appearance by Meatloaf definitely deliver the best performances in the cast and each of them perform their roles admirably. They are obviously not taking the material seriously and that enjoyment comes off on the screen. The end does prove to become a tad too strange for its own good, but as a whole, I can completely understand why the cult popularity with The Rocky Horror Picture Show exists.Just Say Yesssss - FilmJunkie
The most brillianty f*cked up musical ever made.
Oh, there are aliens and there is bisexual sex. There is a hunchback and a song called 'The Time Warp'. Hell, this movie even has Meat Loaf.
Is there anyone who hasn't seen this and revelled in the glorious sight of Tim Curry in drag? If so, walk, nay run, to your local store and just buy the damn thing.
There is nothing better.
