Seeing is believing. There are 25,000 lights on the roof. An exploding turkey on the dining room table. A SWAT team taking seige outside. A festive supporting cast and a John Hughes script full of wit, heart and sheer goofiness. Yule love it!

This is about the Griswold family who wanted to have a faimly Christmas, but it all goes wrong. At some points in the movie, the ideas are a bit ridiculous and would never happen in real life, but just the thought of it makes you laugh. Chevy Chase (Clark) makes these scenes seem as if what he were doing is normal, and that's what makes this movie funny. If you are the type of person to watch the award winning movies that have a point and has no laughs, don't watch this movie. But it's a fun movie to watch with the family at Christmas.
