Slackers
Higher Education Just Hit A New Low.
An outrageous, sexy comedy from the producers of I Know What You Did Last Summer, Slackers stars breakout talents Devon Sawa (Idle Hands, Final Destination), Jason Schwartzman (Rushmore), James King (Pearl Harbor) and Laura Prepon (TV's That 70's Show).
Crafty roommates Dave, Sam and Jeff are happily scheming their way through college. But when super-nerdy Ethan spots Dave stealing test questions, he threatens to turn them in - unless they hatch a plan to hook him up with beautiful Angela, the object of Ethan's unhealthy obsession. The guys take on the challenge, but when Dave and Angelea start to fall in love instead, all bets are off. And that's when Ethan's antics turn hilariously psychotic.

The only reason I checked this movie out was because of Jason Segel. Every month I choose an actor and rent and review their work. What i've learned about Segel was he did ALOT of teen movies and was 'typed casted' as the moronic idiot.
Ironically I did enjoy this movie as Jason Schwartzman was Hilariously evil and crazy. And Segel who didn't fall behind with his childlike man humour and cute locks of hair. Its a winner for me. This movie is memoriable, and a nice treasure to watch, if you like raunchy jokes and predictable plotline this is the movie for you. It's not a "good" movie, but an entertaining one. - ABT-
It's not a great movie for its depth or cinematography, but it's good, mindless fun. Jason Schwartzman is great as the creepy, stalker type. The rest of the actors just support his well-acted insanity. The "singing penis scene" that's referred to in the "trivia" section of this page was quite funny, if you have a perverse, juvenile sense of humour.
