All Over The Guy
4 Friends, 3 Guys, 2 Couples... You Do The Math.
A contemporary romantic comedy about the universal quest for that one true love. All Over That Guy, centers on an unlikely pair of two twenty-somethings, Eli (Dan Bucatinsky) and Tom (Richard Ruccolo), who are thrown together by their respective best friends. They do everything they can to not fall for each other, but ultimately it's the small moments of truth -- the talk among trusted friends and the fear between new lovers -- that the two ultimately find their way to a love that will last.

I really did - it was just impossible. There was nothing to like - the story was disjointed at best, the actual plot was horrific and the LGBT content, while there, was so stereotypical that it was painful. I would avoid this movie like the plague, its pretty bad and i want those few hours of my life back.good, but a bit flat - 2commit
There’s really nothing wrong with this movie—the characters are believable, the acting competent, the production technically admirable—but the whole time I was watching it, I wanted to yell at the characters, “Stop f**king whining. Get a grip on your neurotic impulses and deal with life as an adult, not as some simpering adolescent mooning over the frustration of sexual tension.” And then I realised this is about as close to dysfunctional reality as you can get. Haven’t we all, at some point, ventured into a relationship knowing deep down that it had disaster written all over it from the start? So, while the dynamics of the characters might be frustrating and the personalities obviously incompatible, this film does hold up a mirror for us to look more closely at what motivates our attraction to unsustainable relationships.all over the movie - caldegren
This is your basic romantic comedy, but with extra depth, wit and warmth. I loved the movie because, although it's a predictable genre-type movie (boy meets boy, boy loses boy, etc.), the characters are more fleshed out and complex. And even with all their flaws, they are still sympathetic. The problems the come up between the couple are realistically portrayed; everyone I know has had similar relationship issues (i.e. desperation and neediness, committment phobia, dysfunctional and alcohlic families)and the way they deal with them are often familiar and funny and touching at the same time. Lovely and enjoyable.
