At the turn of the last century, two brothers fall in love with the same woman. When she chooses the younger of the two, the embittered older brother travels overseas where he becomes a ruthless mercenary... but the revolution soon takes a personal twist with one brother hanging on the edge of life and death.

Dust is an intriguing, disturbing and sometimes confusing story about bad people who do bad things though they are ultimately fulfilling their destiny. The story is narrated by an old sick women. Her foil is a thief who almost kills her but ends up saving her, and becomes linked to her destiny. The story is told to him. There is a lot of violence and killing. Most of the key characters are cruel, destructive and exploitive. Nevertheless they end up doing a lot of good things. It is a satisfying story if you don't mind the lack of "good people".dust - ladymoonstone
David Wenham plays one of two brothers. One marrys a whore and David goes to eruope to find his fortune as a killer. This film would be rather good except It starts in N.Y. with a black kid robbing an old white woman who can use a gun very well.
But the flash back and segways take the story and chop it into little pieces. It dosn't make much sense.
if you watch this be really patient and it you get something out of it write a review.
