Should have ended with H2O - Poet
This one was really pointless. I loved the ending to Halloween H2O and, really, they should have kept the original franchise at that. Unfortunately, they went to the well one more time, and it was one time too many.
Everything seemed rush here. No effort on mood and setups, just pure slashing. At least if that part had been well done, it wouldn't be such a loss. Unfortunately, we don't care about the characters and what happens to them.
Busta Rhymes' acting is really awful here, same with Tyra Banks. If they have any talent, it wasn't exploited here.Halloween: The Spoof (Mikey, we hardly knew ya!) - CaptainRhodes
There isn't many complaints that I could dish out about this entry that one hasn't already heard a hundred times. Perhaps I should try to defend and justify its intentions. Just to go against the grain instead of bashing it to a pulp. But oh my, I haven't the energy. This is a horrid affair which offers no respect to the past Halloween movies or to the fans. Who the hell were they aiming this movie for anyway, huh?Alright! - redalertgal
It is a little sad to see the once genuinely terrifying Halloween franchise reduced to the same cheap tricks every mediocre horror movie uses. Thankfully it is not as bad as it sounds. There are some great moments to appease almost any true fan of Michael Myers. I guess the makers of this movie wanted to breathe new life into an aging franchise. Michael Myers in the new millenium so to speak. Not a bad job of doing that. Had they geared it more towards adults and not teens it would have been much more watchable.
